This photography project is a study of the Moon and Sun through an analog lens. It explores the idea that people are connected together looking at the same greater elements, from different parts of the world. Sometimes I unconsciously felt more isolated watching sunsets, or a full moon at night. I had this feeling that only I and the people around me would see this. Recently a friend was watching a sunset in Cornwall, and messaged me ‘Maybe you are watching the same sun 300 miles away’. At this moment I realised that yes, we were watching the same sun sinking into the horizon. This thought had a powerful effect on me, and I think this realisation could bring people together, or bring comfort to someone who feels a little lonely. We are watching the same moon, from our homes ; we are watching the same sun, within our own geographies.
