Clementine Blue presents: Energy Flow Feat. Akiharu Kitagawa & Asuka.
‘Energy Flow’ is a mixed media project exploring the relationship between analogue synthesizers and Japanese Koto harp. Through artistic dialogue online and in person, Akiharu Kitagawa, ASUKA and Clementine Blue created tracks inspired by the nature of Japan and England.
This project was kindly supported by Arts Council England.
The Energy Flow art book is a visual exploration of the music, focussing on the landscape of the Nagano Prefecture in Japan. Highlighting details of the environment, the photographs question our perception of nature through the process of botanical toning and the use of handmade paper.
The project will be released on all digital streaming platforms and via bandcamp on 3rd of May 2024.
